This is an airport hotel that is within walking distance of the terminals. You’re also close to Mendenhall Lake. Prices tend to be higher at this chain hotel and yet it’s only a 2-star hotel, meaning it has fewer accommodations than some of the local hotel options. However, it does get great reviews, specifically for friendly staff and clean rooms.

This is by far the most expensive overnight accommodation option in the area. It is a 3-star hotel, which means you can expect some good amenities, but that might not cover the expensive prices. Reviewers do appreciate how clean the rooms are, the friendly staff as well as the convenience of the on-site restaurant and bar.

Located in the heart of downtown, Silverbow Inn Hotel and Suites offers an incredible convenience for travelers. You’ll be just two blocks from the Alaska State Capitol Building and the Juneau-Douglas City Museum. The one drawback is that it is one of the few hotels in the area that charges for parking.

The Alaskan Hotel & Bar

Take a step back in time to 1913 when this hotel was built. It features a Victorian-style bar and a unique hotel experience. However, rooms are small and dated. Reviewers state that the rooms smell of mildew and the beds are not great for sleep. You’ll pay less to be in downtown Juneau, which is great, but this is a 1-star hotel and many rooms have shared bathrooms.

The Driftwood Hotel

The Driftwood has some of the lowest review ratings of all hotels in the area. It is only a 1-star hotel, so don’t expect much in the form of perks. The location is good though and puts you within walking distance of the waterfront as well as many great restaurants and fun things to see in the area.

Baranof Downtown, BW Signature Collection

Although this is a 3-star hotel, it doesn’t get great reviews from past visitors and is quite expensive. It is downtown and visitors report a noisy stay because of it. This historic hotel dates back to 1939 and has an art deco style. You’ll find a cocktail lounge and modern restaurant on-site.

Despite being a 3-star hotel, reviewers are not especially kind to this hotel and it certainly isn’t a budget hotel. The hotel is quite dated and needs some renovations. But you will have a waterfront view.
