Alaska Marine Highway ferries dock at the Auke Bay terminal, about an 8 minute drive from the hotel. Our complimentary shuttle also serves the ferry terminal; call ahead with your sailing so we can plan the pickup.
Cruise ships dock in downtown Juneau, about 9.5 miles from the hotel. If your trip starts or ends with a cruise, call the front desk and we will help you plan the best way to get between the docks and the hotel.
From downtown Juneau, follow Egan Drive toward the airport and the Mendenhall Valley, about 9.5 miles. The hotel is on Glacier Highway near the airport; look for the big Frontier Suites sign. In Google Maps, search for Frontier Suites Airport Hotel.
The front desk is staffed 24 hours a day, so someone is there to check you in after an evening flight. The shuttle runs from 4:30 AM to 10:30 PM in winter and from 4:00 AM to 11:00 PM in summer.
Mendenhall Glacier is about 4 miles from the hotel, Glacier Gardens Rainforest Adventure about 2.5 miles and Auke Bay about 4 miles. A rental car gives you the most freedom, and parking at the hotel is free.
