Following our popular blog post on Extended Stay in Juneau, AK, we’ve decided to put together a list of hotels in Juneau that also have a restaurant on premises (you can read about interesting restaurants in general and quirky bars in Juneau here). We know how convenient it is to stay in a hotel where you can also enjoy a special meal in the building. With that in mind, here is what various hotels in Juneau can offer when it comes to food on site.
Frontier Suites Hotel in Juneau
Northern Cuisine is the Peruvian restaurant located in the lobby of the Frontier Suites Hotel in Juneau. Very good, simple, hearty food is how customers describe their experience on TripAdvisor. Being one of the many amenities offered by our hotel, the Northern Cuisine restaurant comes highly recommended by the guests who visited in the past. The food is delicious, the portions are well-sized, the prices are friendly, and the service is excellent. The restaurant is known for its breakfasts, and Frontier Suites visitors receive a special voucher for the breakfast. Otherwise, the guests can apply the vouchers to other menu items and cover the price difference.
My husband had the special of beef, tomatoes and onions with spaghetti. I had chicken stew. Seasoning for both was wonderful. Would definitely come again.

Prospector Hotel
T.K. Maguire’s Restaurant at the Prospector Hotel features a varied menu that focuses on seafood. The place also serves burgers and tacos, which are quite popular. The service is a bit of a hit and miss, but if you are feeling adventurous, their Maguire’s Captain’s Plate is actually quite good. Visitors appreciated the value you get when you eat at T.K. Maguire’s, so feel free to check them out when you’re in town.

PS: Some say that The Alaskan Hotel is haunted!
The Westmark Baranof Hotel
The Westmark Baranof Hotel features two restaurant locations in Juneau. The 127 Restaurant is located in the hotel’s lobby. Its doors are open between 7:00am and 2:00pm, serving only breakfast and brunch options. The menu is short, but it offers a sophisticated range of items. We’ve heard that the Northern Lights signature breakfast is quite good!
Their second spot, The Bubble Room Restaurant & Lounge, is located in the same building and operates between 4:00pm and midnight. Their food menu is well balanced, however the place is mostly visited for the bar. The food is quite good, even though the prices are definitely on the high side. The hotel bar does get crowded and can be loud during happy hours. The service could be improved, but the atmosphere is interesting. Make sure to try their seafood in the summer.
Travelodge by Wyndham
Located within walking distance from the airport, Mi Casa is the go to spot if you’re looking for Mexican cuisine. Tacos, enchiladas, burritos, tortillas are just a few delicious items on their menu. Whoever is in the mood for it can ring the bell located next to the bar, signifying that they’re buying a round of drinks for everyone. A good idea if you want to become popular real fast! The place is very fun and friendly.
This just about rounds up the list of hotels with restaurants in Juneau. Did we miss any? Do you have a favorite restaurant that you think should be added to the list? Just send us a message here and we’ll take it into account! Happy dining!
